We’ve assembled this page to cover some of the basics, so you can find the information readily available to you. We’re interested in long-term relationships with our clients, ones that extend beyond the commercials. We thrive on learning everything there is to know about your organization, your market, your opportunities and your challenges. That helps us serve you better. Business is BUILT on relationships, and we view our clients as partners in our mutual success.
Contracts
We operate almost exclusively on a billable-hour basis. The reason is that the nature of our clients’ needs vary within a project, which tends to lead to something called scope creep. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, it’s an unfortunate side effect of trying to take on too much without a clear and achievable vision for the end goal.
By operating on a billable-hour basis, we’ve found this forces focus to the front of the conversation with clients. We provide project status updates and burn reports whenever they’re requested, and we proactively discuss them with each engagement. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we’re pretty good at forecasting commitment times.
If you ever need a copy of your contract, or it went missing in your email, we can provide a digital copy. And we’re human, so just ask us any time you need anything regarding the commercials. We don’t bill hours for those contract details like larger firms.
Payments & Accounts Receivable
We like to make it easy for you to do business with us. Prefer to pay by check? Just reach out and we’ll share remittance details.
We accept most major credit cards as well as PayPal, but we discourage those methods and only with pre-approval. It may be convenient, but we like to avoid bank fees like any organization, it helps us provide better services at lower cost. Nonetheless, they’re available if we work that out with your organization in advance.
We process checks the old-fashioned way, by walking to a bank and having a conversation. It gets us exercise and keeps us connected with the community of businesses and people around our offices. We process credit cards through our friends at Stripe, a secure payment gateway run by a really excellent team. We take PayPal too.
Our Hometown
Our offices are right in midtown Manhattan. New York City is experiencing one of the greatest booms in business in decades, and it’s diversifying. No longer just fashion, finance and media, New York is now home to engineering, manufacturing and ecommerce giants.
The city energizes us, and we love it because we can walk to most of our clients’ locations.
We’re located on Park Avenue South just a few steps from the Flatiron Building and NoMad’s famous collection of parks, shops and cutting-edge enterprises, right in the beating heart of the city.
